From One Machine,
A Journey Takes Shape
Wild Woven began with a simple belief: meaningful leather goods are built through patience, precision, and respect for the material.
Our story began in 2014, in a modest workspace in Badda, Dhaka, with one stitching machine and an ambition to understand leather by working with it every day.
Our founder, Anamul Hoque, had recently graduated in Leather Products Engineering. Rather than beginning with a large factory or an established production line, he started small—learning through every cut, every seam, and every finished piece.
In those early days, there was little between an idea and the finished product. Leather had to be understood by hand. Construction had to be tested through use. A stitch that was slightly misplaced, a proportion that did not feel right, or a finishing detail that lacked consistency became another lesson.
We began with everyday leather essentials—wallets, small leather goods, and gradually more functional products such as backpacks. These products gave us something more valuable than volume: they gave us experience.
Over time, that experience became a team. The single machine became many hands, and the modest beginning in Badda eventually grew into our manufacturing operation in Hemayetpur, Savar, close to one of Bangladesh’s historic centres of leather production.
Today, more than 90 skilled artisans contribute to our production, with the capability to produce up to 3,000 bags each month. Our capabilities have grown considerably, but we have never wanted growth to replace the discipline that shaped our beginning.
For us, manufacturing is not simply about making more. It is about making better decisions at every stage— understanding the leather, choosing appropriate components, refining construction, controlling finishing, and giving every product the attention it deserves.
From one machine to a growing manufacturing team, the journey has changed our scale—but not our standard.
We still believe that good leather goods begin with care, become stronger through experience, and earn their value through the details.
